The GoodWood & Co transformation process... The GoodWood & Co contractor works efficiently and quickly Applying Flood Spa-n-Deck is done with the minimum of fuss and disruption. It is acrylic based, and delivers a tough and durable finish that is designed to last with minimum maintenance. Unlike conventional finishes, Flood Spa-n-Deck is applied to timber right after it is cleaned, while the surface is still wet. Evaluation, pricing and planning The first thing a GoodWood & Co contractor will do is assess the state of the timber to evaluate the work required to rejuvenate the surface and give a fair quote. On acceptance of the quote the contractor will work out a suitable working schedule for both parties. No mess preparation Most jobs can be started AND completed on the same day. On the selected day the contractor will start by removing any old finish residue, such as oils, preservatives, mill scale etc. This is followed by a thorough clean of the deck with Spa-N-Deck Prep Solution followed by a final power wash. Efficient application After the final wash, the GoodWood & Co contractor will immediately apply the first coat of Flood Spa-N-Deck, while the timber is still wet. The water will allow this first coat to deeply penetrate into the timber surface. As soon as this coat has dried, a second coat will be applied and followed with a third to ensure longevity of the coating.
